We guide you step by step: from uncovering real user needs to shaping sharp hypotheses and assembling a focused, testable concept. With AI tools at your side, what used to take a full product team is now doable solo.

Who’s behind Insight Lab

Insight Lab is the first step in the Product Creative Lab ecosystem — a space where creators shape ideas into products and join a supportive community of founders.

Since 2023, our labs have been running at LSE campus and online. We’ve designed a safe, collaborative environment where you can explore, test, and move fast — surrounded by like-minded builders.

We host bite-size labs, longer hands-on programmes, and a monthly Pitch Night in London — so you can go from early spark to product and funding, with guidance at every step.

Inside the 6-Week Sprint

Six guided steps to turn a vague topic into a clear, validated concept — powered by human insight and AI tools.

the Weekly rhythm: Tuesday 19:00 (CET) – live Q&A with a guest expert. Saturday 10:00–13:00 – interactive workshop with the curators.

Between sessions, you’ll use AI to explore data, craft artefacts, and prepare your next step.

Idea → Hypothesis

Transform your topic or loose idea into 2–3 sharp, testable hypotheses. Use real-life triggers, jobs, and frustrations to shape them — and pick the one that’s worth testing.

Reality Dive

Run depth interviews and desk research to map how people currently try to solve the problem. Extract patterns in barriers, workarounds, and emotional drivers.

Insight Needs Map

Build a full map of needs, pain points, and decision triggers. Group users into segments based on shared motivations — and select the one with the most potential.

Breakthrough Concepts

Design 1–2 product concepts that target real friction or untapped needs. Use the job map to guide where and how your solution will be better.

Economics & Growth

Estimate early unit economics. Compare different pricing and growth scenarios. Identify the strongest concept based on viability, margins, and market logic.

Ready-to-Test Pack

Wrap your work into a clear one-pager and switch-test plan. You’ll walk away with a sharp, testable concept you can bring into Launch Lab or run on your own.

What You’ll Walk Away With

A complete starter kit to test your concept, pitch it to co-founders or early investors, and move straight into MVP testing with confidence.

|
Hypothesis Card – 2–3 clear, testable hypotheses grounded in real user behavior.
Jobs × Gaps Matrix – a grid showing the most urgent and underserved problems in your space.

Value Concept Slide – a sharp snapshot: problem, promise, market alternatives, and why you win.
3-Scenario Economics – pricing options, CAC/LTV model, and early breakeven forecast.
Test Blueprint – switch-test plan with channels, variants, and what success looks like.

Voices from the Lab

Oleg
Software Development Engineer

"The offline course turned out to be much more real than any “how to raise a round” content. Each session focused on our own projects with honest feedback and clear milestones. You always felt progress. It helped me stop overthinking and actually move forward saving time, energy, and turning ideas into real steps."

Varia
Global Asset Manager

"This course was an incredible experience and my best investment of the year! It gives you everything to launch a product: from research to idea and validation. But what stood out most was the people, smart, ambitious, inspiring. You share, laugh, and keep supporting each other long after it ends. Huge thanks to Alex for making it all work!"

George
Product Lead

"The program helped me clearly see all the steps, truly all of them, from early idea to a complete concept. I especially loved the second part, where we explored business models, ways to validate concepts, and put the whole puzzle together into a one-pager. The journey is complex and creative, but the structure made it all feel doable. Huge thanks to the team and everyone in the cohort it was an awesome experience!"

Kirill
Lead Software Engineer

"The program fully delivered on its promise. I gained the skills to validate an idea — and actually did it. Starting from scratch, I developed a concept, ran my first tests, and got 800 sign-ups. I was blown away! The mix of hands-on work and emotional reflection helped me stay focused and really understand what launching your own product feels like."

Max
Senior Product Owner

"In a corporate role, it’s hard to find time or mental space to seriously work on your own ideas. This course helped me rewire how I think about product development. It challenged old assumptions, pushed me into real user research, and helped reduce the emotional and financial risk of starting something new. The community, too, was a game-changer."

Alex
Investment Banking Associate

"This course gave me exactly what I needed to move forward, clear structure, expert input, and practical steps to go from a rough idea to a tested concept in just two months. But beyond that, it created an atmosphere where experimenting, failing, and learning felt exciting and genuinely fun. The peer support was a huge part of that."

Alex
Applied Researcher

“Joining the program was the best decision I made in 2024.”

Dmitry
Head of Engineering

"Huge thanks to Sasha Danilov and the incredible team behind this course. It gave me a deep dive into startup creation across UK and US markets — not just knowledge, but real motivation to keep going. The informal sessions with experienced founders were truly inspiring. And the community of like-minded people made the whole journey unforgettable."

Yuri
Strategy Director

"This program gave me a real sense of confidence, at a time when I truly needed it. The group dynamic, the teamwork, and the support were something rare and deeply meaningful. It helped me look ahead with hope and energy. Honestly, I just wish I hadn’t missed two sessions!"

Anna
Creative Director at Marketing Agency

"What I especially liked about the course was its depth. It’s not a ‘step one-two-three’ checklist, but a real immersion into how products are shaped from real needs. A lot of attention goes into understanding what truly drives people — and the Needs Graph was a revelation. This kind of thinking is invaluable for shaping any meaningful project. This was not only helpful but also incredibly inspiring!"

FAQ

Still have questions? Write to us: hello@productcreativelab.com

What if I don’t have a clear idea yet?

No problem. Insight Lab exists to turn a loose theme or hunch into a testable concept.

I work full-time — will I have enough time?

Yes. Plan on 4–6 hours a week: Tuesday evening Q&A, Saturday workshop, plus a bit of self-work.

What happens if I miss a live workshop?

Every session is recorded and shared, and you can post questions in the cohort chat to get curator feedback.

What should I do after my concept is ready?

Either move into our Launch Lab—run switch tests and build an MVP with guidance, or test and build on your own, then apply to our monthly Pitch Night to present to investors.
